Engine
All three 3600 Series tractor models feature
impressive turbo-charged SisuDiesel engines.
These ingeniously designed 3-cylinder engines
deliver more torque, greater reliability and
superior fuel efficiency no matter what the job.
Every 3600 series tractor is powered by the
proven Sisu Diesel Fortius series 3-cylinder
turbocharged diesel engine. These powerful
engines provide excellent fuel efficiency and
reliability.
What's more, Sisu's exclusive EEM2 electronic
engine management system is programmed
specifically to optimize torque, fuel injection
and other engine functions in agricultural and
utility applications, so you get increased power
and safety from your 3600 Series tractor.
This state-of-the-art system even adapts to
changing needs, based on data collected during
operation. Plus, the system includes service and
fault diagnostics, to lengthen engine life and
keep you on top of important engine service and
maintenance needs.
Transmission
Choose from the standard 8 x 8 SynchroShuttle
transmission or the available 12 x 12
PowerShuttle, to best complement your operation.

transmission or the available 12 x 12
PowerShuttle, you'll get a power train that
gives you smoother, virtually effortless gear
changes. So, no matter what job you're tackling,
you can be sure you'll get it done faster and
easier, every time.
Hydraulics
The 3600 series features an open center system
that is capable of supplying 15.8 gpm to the
rear remotes.
Every 3600 series tractor features a dependable
open center hydraulic system to give you all the
power and control you need to get the job done.
With two dedicated hydraulic gear pumps and a
combined total flow of 22.4 GPM you can count on
maximum hydraulic flow where you need it and
when you need it. The 15.8 GPM main pump
delivers plenty of muscle to the auxiliary
hydraulic remotes and the 3-point hitch, for
faster cycle times that let you do more work in
less time. A second 6.6 GPM pump ensures
precise, low-effort steering, even in adverse
conditions, without diverting flow from the main
pump.
Two 3-position remote valves with spring return
to neutral are standard. Three remote valves one
3-position spring return to neutral and two
4-position kick out and float are optional.
For even greater productivity, the
factory-installed, ergonomic joystick includes
mid-mounted valve and couplers, so loader work
is a breeze and loader hookup is a snap.
3 Point Hitch
Strong 3-point linkage on every 3600 Series
tractor boasts an impressive 5,512 pounds of
lift capacity, so you can count on optimum
implement accuracy and responsive control, even
with the largest implements.

include position control for implement working
height, draft-sensing control for working depth,
and rate of drop control, to protect implements
when lowering or transporting. And all controls
are conveniently placed at the operator's right
hand, so you work more efficiently with any
mounted implement.
Standard cross-drilled ball ends allow you to
switch between Category I and II implements.
Telescopic stabilizers let you hook up
implements and adjust side-to-side sway to suit
the implement. With the optional extendable
lower links, it's even easier to connect to any
implement or attachment.
PTO
The standard 540 independent PTO makes it easy
to use a wide array of implements. For those
tasks requiring less power, choose the optional
540 economy PTO.
Thanks to the standard independent PTO, you'll
get optimum productivity and performance from
all your implements. Engage or disengage the PTO
on the fly, thanks to an ergonomically
controlled hydraulic clutch that works with just
the touch of a finger.
Some jobs, like spraying or light mowing,
require less than your tractor's fully rated PTO
horsepower. Thanks to the optional 2-speed
540/540E economy PTO, you can conserve diesel,
without affecting performance. And that makes a
hard day's work easier on your fuel tank and on
your budget.
Operator's Area
Spacious and uncluttered footstep and cab
versions offer customers their choice in
operator comfort.
Footstep and cab versions are available for
every 3600 series tractor. The spacious,
uncluttered footstep design provides operators
with plenty of room to climb aboard and settle
into the adjustable operator's seat. Controls
and instrumentation are thoughtfully placed and
easy to read, so you work more efficiently, with
less operator fatigue. And the sleekly sloped
hood enhances visibility, for less strain,
greater safety and improved efficiency with jobs
like loader work.
Comfort and convenience is also found inside the
factory installed cab tractors.
Step effortlessly into the quiet, spacious iso-mounted
cab through either of two wide entry doors. Have
a seat in the deluxe adjustable fabric-covered
seat complete with arm rests, beverage holder
and retractable seat belt. Then adjust the
telescopic, tilt steering column to fit the way
you drive.
Adjust and direct the vents on the standard HVAC
system, to create a comfort zone inside the cab,
no matter what the weather. And work safer and
smarter, thanks to features like front and rear
work lights, left and right exterior mirrors,
curved rear side windows, swing-out rear window,
a rear cable entry point and an optional rear
wiper.
Serviceability
A one-piece flip up hood allows instant access
to all routine maintenance and service points.

Series tractor, and you'll have instant access

points. The air cleaner, heavy-duty battery,
radiator, A/C condenser, and oil and fuel
filters are right at your fingertips, so you can
keep tabs on important tractor functions
regularly. In addition, the engine oil dipstick,
filter and fill are all conveniently clustered
on the same side of the engine, so maintenance
and service require less time and effort.
Options and Accessories
Customize your tractor with extendible lower
links, factory installed joystick, instructor's
seat, horizontal exhaust, or a variety of other
accessories to best suit your needs.
